"What can I do for you?" Approaching life with this self-less intention will make a difference in the life of others and yourself.
These 6 words have the power to change our families, workplace, home, heart...they have the power to change our life. Sounds dramatic but non the less it's true. Let's break it down for a practical, intentional approach:
1. WHAT - Look around and see the needs of others. Look inside and see what you can do for yourself. Take notice, and see "what" the need is.
2. CAN - What can I do? What can you do? What is in my power, how can I move in this situation? How can I love in this situation? How can I stay present? How can I stay still? How can I speak? What ever it is...you can do something. Sometimes "in-action" is action - be careful to really recognize what it is that you CAN and what you can NOT do.
3. I - Taking me off the pedal stool and putting others before self. Unselfishly being available.
4. DO - Taking action instead of talking. Actions speak louder than words. Heart service not just lip service.
5. FOR - offering yourself to someone in need. "I'm making this dinner for you. I'm taking time for you. I'm staying home for you. I'm babysitting for you. I'm going to the hospital with you. I'm buying this for you." What is it that you can do for someone today? What is it that you can do for yourself today?
6. YOU - Honest eyes seeing yourself in a pure light for who you really are. Selfless eyes seeing others in a pure light for who they really are. Even though it's not perfect, even if you aren't doing what I want, even if you are more beautiful than I, even if your smiling and I'm crying. Even if your crying and I'm smiling...I want to really see YOU! The most loving thing you can do for someone is truly see them, and love them. The most loving thing you can do for yourself is truly see you. Seeing reality and still accepting...that's love.
Ask your self the questions "What can I do for you?" Honor yourself, love yourself then you can truly honor and love others. With intention make it a practice to live sacrificially and "on purpose" ask the question "What can I do for you?" See how your life and the lives of those around you change. :)

God's Love - The center of our consciousness
God's Love is meant to be the center of our consciousness. "Love the Lord your God With all your heart, mind and strength." God then becomes the anchor or our soul. All thoughts, hopes, fears, worries, dreams, joys, loves can be brought to Him. Re-direct all thoughts to God then our soul can be anchored in His Love. I find I fall short in loving others as my self. My ego tends to get in the way and my thoughts and intentions seem to be focused back on me and my well being, my desires, my way. When I center my universe on God rather than myself - loving others becomes more of a reality then a nice, cheerful thought. It becomes a true action that can bring healing, health, hope...love. "Love your neighbor as your self." Verse of the day Matthew 22:37-39;
Song of the day "Everybody" Ingrid Michaelson...
"Happy is the heart that still feels pain. Darkness drains and light will come again. Swing open up your chest and let it in, just let the love, love, love begin."
